Remove Logo Now! 1.5

Remove Logo Now! is a handy application created to help you remove logos, watermarks, subtitles, text overlays, and other elements from videos.
The best thing about this tool was supposed to be the automatic text overlay detection function, which is meant to locate and remove the watermarks and logos automatically, without much user intervention. Unfortunately, during my testing, this function proved to be rather inaccurate, as it also considered random areas of the video image as a part of the logo to be removed. Another disappointing aspect about this application is the fact that it cannot be used to remove large watermarks and logos that take a lot of the screen, as it would make the video all blurry and incomprehensible. Furthermore, it can remove only static elements; therefore it’s useless at removing watermarks and logos that slide from one side of the video screen to the other. Last but not least, it lacks proper video playback controls that would allow the users to play, pause, rewind, or forward the selected videos in a convenient manner.
Anyway, though I only mentioned its flaws so far, this tool is not bad or useless. It can prove to be very effective when it comes to simple, small, static watermarks and logos. It offers precise results especially when it comes to semi-transparent logos and watermarks. It’s also very easy-to-use and intuitive; therefore even beginners can use this tool rather effortlessly.
Moreover, it supports a lot of video file formats, including AVI, MOV, M1V, MP2, SVCD, FLV, MP4, M2V, DVD, SWF, 3GP, MKV, WMV, and RM10. It can re-encode the processed videos to different formats, so it can also be used as a simple video conversion tool.
In conclusion, it’s worth a try, especially if the logo or watermark that you want removed is not large or intricate.
